Fraternities

Pi Kappa Alpha

Since June 11, 1925, Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) at Utah State University has aimed to develop its members into the highest caliber of Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. Pi Kappa Alpha is one of the nation’s largest fraternities with over 300,000 lifetime initiates and over 220 chapters worldwide. Originally founded at the University of Virginia in 1868, the fraternity has committed to setting “the standard of integrity, intellect, and achievement for our members, host institutions, and the communities in which we live.” Our chapter boasts a proud history of philanthropy with Primary Children’s Hospital; in conjunction with USU’s Aggiethon Dance Marathon, our chapter raised almost $5,000 and is the highest fundraising student team four years running. Pi Kappa Alpha is dedicated to bettering the college experience of all our members and preparing them for excellence in the years to come.

Sigma Phi Epsilon

Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded with the cardinal principles of virtue, diligence and brotherly love. The mission is “Building Balanced Men”, which is achieved through a commitment to sound mind and sound body. SigEp revolutionized the fraternity movement in 1991 by unveiling the Balanced Man Program, a concept of single-tiered membership and continuous development that begins the day a member joins. Based on equal rights and responsibilities for all members, the program’s progressive challenges provide brothers the opportunity to grow and fine-tune skills alongside what is provided in the classroom.

Alpha Sigma Phi

Alpha Sigma Phi (or Alpha Sig) chartered at Utah State in 2017. Our mission is to provide values-driven brotherhood experiences through life. Our vision is to “Better the World through Better Men.” And our purpose is to Better the Man, through the creation and perpetuation of brotherhood founded upon the values of character: Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, Patriotism. Alpha Sig is not interested in only becoming the fraternity of choice, for this perspective unnecessarily narrows our recruitment efforts to those inclined to go Greek. We instead, will be focused on appealing to a broader base of undergraduate men, thereby competing directly with other activities and organizations on today's campuses. By so doing, help to attract the very best and brightest undergraduate men.
