USUSA Actively Moving Forward

USUSA Actively Moving Forward (AMF) is a support network for college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one, comprised of two main aspects:

  • 1. Peer support group: meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month in Old Main 227 at 7:30 PM. This is an environment in which grieving peers can realize they are not alone connect with each other through shared experiences (it does not replace counseling).
  • 2. Service group: throughout each semester, we coordinate opportunities for all who are interested in supporting grieving college students to come together through service.

USUSA Aikido Club

The purpose of the Aikido Club is to provide an opportunity for members of the university and surrounding communities to learn and maintain a practice in the art of Aikido, which is a self-defense practice with no punches or kicks for defense. We hope to be a vehicle to promote understanding and mutual cultural exchange between the on campus Asian community and the local culture and student body. The purpose includes showing meditation, breathing, and balancing techniques for mind-body health.

The USUSA Aggie Canyoneering Club helps students foster a love for the outdoors, develop the technical skills needed to safely enjoy Canyoneering, and to create a community of canyoneers here at Utah State University. For seasoned canyoneers and beginners alike.

USUSA Aggie Game Night

Aggie Game Night (AGN), a social club, meets every Friday at 7pm in ENGR 201 to play board games. Everyone is welcome (students, staff, faculty, and public) and there are no fees required. Stay for an hour or stay until midnight. However much your mind and body can take.
   
   Every week is different but we can have anywhere from 15 to 55 people attending. AGN has a library of games from which to choose and you can always bring your own to share. We teach games we know and like to learn new games too.

USUSA Aggies for Christ

The Aggies for Christ are a group of Christian students sponsored by the Logan church of Christ. AFC helps students develop friendships with other Christians that will last a lifetime. Spirituality is strengthened through Bible studies, devos, service projects, weekend trips, and extended mission trips. But, above all, the focus and goal of Aggies for Christ is to glorify, honor, and serve our mighty God and lift up His holy name at Utah State University.

This club promotes interest and raises awareness in the field of anthropology. This organization gives members the opportunity to listen to professional speakers, attend field trips, and participate in hands-on learning experiences and social activities. The club aims to generate members that have an increased appreciation for other cultures and people, as well as foster successful employees in anthropology.

USUSA Aos Si Irish Dance Club

This club is all about exploring the world of Irish Dance. Members will get to meet weekly to choreograph dances, practice steps, and just have fun dancing. We will have two performances as well as some Irish Folk Dance workshops throughout the semester.

USUSA AMSA (American Medical Student Association)

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is the oldest and largest independent organization of physicians-in-training in the US. The USU chapter’s mission is to provide significant experiences and peer support to inspire Pre-MED students to become involved in the community and to become exceptional physicians.

USUSA Archery Club

The USUSA Archery club gives students a safe and affordable place to practice archery at the Cache Valley Shooting Range. Students can get a club membership pass at the range for the duration of a semester at a great discount. Equipment is available to use for beginners upon the purchase of a membership pass. Club leadership is usually there on Friday evenings but members can shoot whenever the range is open.

Since Fall 1998, the USU Big Band Swing Club has been teaching and helping students, teachers, and the community to appreciate the American heritage of swing dancing. Still standing and better than ever, the history of club continues today, and we welcome all to come and enjoy the sounds of the great big bands from our countries history.

USUSA B.L.E.U. Believing Learning Educating Uniting

This is a club for students with disabilities run by students with disabilities. We work to create an all inclusive, safe, fun community for students with disabilities at USU. The goal being to promote pride and create a voice on campus.

USUSA Billiards Club

 The USU Billiards Club is the classiest club on campus. We meet twice a month to enjoy an evening of billiards, socializing, and snacks.

USUSA Bull Pen Club

The Bull Pen is Utah State University's one and only creative writing club. It meets on Mondays at 3:30 in the Ray B. West building, room 214. Bull Pen members get to be a part of a growing and active writing community in which writers strive to help each other improve.

USUSA Cache Valley Rollers

The USUSA Cache Valley Rollers club provides an opportunity for those who enjoy roller skating and rollerblading to gather together and share this interest. We go every Tuesday to "Sk80s" Night at the Cache Valley Fun Park from 9PM to 11PM. No matter what skill level, anyone is welcome to join and roll with us! We will occasionally host themed nights at Sk80s as well as instructional nights for those wanting to improve their skating/blading skills. This is a great opportunity to have some fun, exercise, and make some friends!

The purpose of Cadaver Tour Club is to have USU students provide education and exposure of anatomy to the surrounding community members, students, and current/future health professionals. This is achieved through exposure to a variety of different dissections of the cadavers.

USUSA Catholic Newman Center

The Catholic Newman Club is home to Catholic students on Utah State's campus. We are located across the street from the ARC at the chapel - open 24/7 for peace and quiet. We have Mass every Sunday at 6pm, lead by our priest Father Joshua. We also hold bible study every Monday night at 7:30. Come and join us!

USUSA Collegians for Christ

CFC is a group of students who love Jesus Christ and desire to serve Him. We take the challenge of the Bible seriously to make an impact in our world and try to live that out in our everyday lives. In our meetings, we dig deep into the Bible and challenge ourselves to serve Him at all costs. Our weekly meetings are in a relaxed atmosphere that encourage discussion and questions. The USUSA dancers club provides students the opportunity to experience, learn, and engage in dance in a fun and safe environment and learn a variety of dances with their peers. Free to come for both students and non-students. We learn dances in hip hop, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, and more! Come learn something new or come remember how much you love to dance!

USUSA Days For Girls

Days for Girls is a non-profit organization that constructs reusable feminine hygiene kits for women all over the world. Each kit is sent off to keep a girl stay in school, work, and break the stigma associated with menstruation. We aid in the assembling of these kits to empower women everywhere.

We are an organization that strives to bring like-minded people together, to learn and organize political action in the goal to create open good-faith conversations about socialism and how it fits in our modern world, but also to build a community of leaders and active citizens. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

   At Film Club we watch and discuss critically acclaimed movies. We have a weekly genre or category and then we vote on films in those categories to watch for the week. It is a fun, laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere.

USUSA Gymnastics Club

The Utah State Gymnastics Club has local competitions for both men and women. We are the only collegiate men’s team in Utah. We also offer gymnastics to those who have never tried it before so come learn some flips!

USUSA H.A.R.T. Africa Club

The H.A.R.T. foundation is a team of dedicated medical professionals committed to making a difference. This group of experienced physicians collaborates with indigenous leaders and other NGO’s worldwide to address the healthcare needs of targeted international communities through highly focused surgical and educational outreach missions to developing countries. We are a chapter of this organization at Utah State University doing our part in assisting H.A.R.T. carry out their mission and purpose in providing relief to countries that desperately need it as well as raising awareness of the growing need of modern medicine in these places.

The purpose of the USUSA Human-Animal Bond Club is to help students increase their knowledge of Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) and promote wellness through the human-animal bond in both academic and community settings. USUSA Intercollegiate Studies Institute

 Intercollegiate Studies Institute is a national organization that was created by William F. Buckley Jr. to give university students an environment in which they could discuss the most meaningful questions in the fields of politics, philosophy, and economics. The ISI chapter here at Utah State University is known as the C.S. Lewis Society, and we read one book published by ISI throughout every semester to discuss over a bi-weekly dinner. Students will have the opportunity to attend national conferences paid for by ISI, become involved in campus speaker events, and receive the traditional liberal education lacking at modern universities.

USUSA Latin Dance Club provides students an opportunity to know more about the Latin culture through one of it's most important cultural traits: dance. USUSA Operation Underground Railroad

Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) is a nonprofit organization founded by Tim Ballard. In the past five years of existence, as of August 2019, O.U.R. has rescued 2,603 victims and assisted in the arrests of more than 1,365 traffickers around the world. USUSA Operation Underground Railroad is an organization that's sole purpose is to abolish human trafficking, specifically child sex trafficking. Members of USUSA O.U.R. have the privilege and opportunity to help spread awareness, participate in fund raisers, give ideas, and many more to contribute to the overall efforts of O.U.R. and ultimately contribute to abolishing human trafficking! We are sponsored by Operation Underground Railroad, and, as such, are under their direction and oversight.

USUSA PRSSA is an organization designed to promote the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at Utah State University. We hold annual meetings and host networking field trips. Public relations is all about building relationships, and USU PRSSA allows students to experience that.

USUSA Skiing and Snowboarding Club

Students will be able to make connections and friends to shred the slopes with. We will meet frequently at resorts for a club riding session. We will meet more frequently at a small hill for hike-n-ride sessions. Our hope is to partner with local resorts and businesses to get more people coming to their shops and resorts.

The USUSA Trail Running Club is a group of students with a love of running and the outdoors. We emphasize weekly trail runs here in Logan, along with optional track workouts for those who want to get on the school team, PB their 5k, or simply enjoy the camaraderie of training with a group. Whether you run a 4 or 40-minute mile, this club is for you!

The USUSA Transfer Student Club is an organization that helps students feel comfortable transitioning to Utah State through events and information sharing. We realize that transfer students have experience with going to other schools, and we will ensure they are in a community where they can ask questions and find resources in their new surroundings.

A stalwart group of young adults celebrating the choice of living a healthy lifestyle through the consumption of vegetables. We learn, celebrate, and consume a different vegetable each meeting. Through the medium of vegetables, we promote leadership, responsibility, and lifelong healthy living.

The mission of the USUSA Wrestling Club is to provide a safe, fun, and challenging wrestling experience to all participants regardless of individual differences. We strive to promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of our members through hard work, commitment, competition and camaraderie. With the creation of the new Yoga Minor, there is a need to share the practice of yoga and bring awareness to the program. The USUSA Yoga Club will be a way to share this art and also give students, who are training to be yoga instructors, a place they can practice the skills needed to transition successfully into the world with the skills they will acquire at USU.

YoungLife College club is a place to meet new people, play fun games, and learn about Jesus together. We meet weekly on Wednesday at 7:38 in the Blue Square Lounge!
